I was thinking more of the dopaminergic effects. (Like I said, *high* doses, meaning 300+ mg/day.)

But I wonder -- I guess I assumed that at least some research had been done to this effect, but I never went and looked for it.

Is CYP-2D6 involved in any of the metabolic pathways of Effexor? I'm particularly interested since there's good reason to believe that I have this polymorphism.

That might explain why I never experienced any kind of withdrawal from ADs other than MAOIs.
