switching to Parnate need some help

Hi folks

I've been prescribed with Parnate: i'm not taking it yet since i'm lowering effexor dosage first.
I'm supposed to quit effexor by the end of the next week. I asked my pdoc which dietary restrictions i should follow while being on Parnate and he told me that i'd be o.k. as long as i didn't drink alchol and stay away from cheese. Are there any other foods i should stay away from?
