Reminyl???

Posted by Anna P. on November 28, 2001, at 14:59:51

My doctor put me on Reminyl for my treatment-resistant anergic depression. This is a new medicine used toreat loss of memory. It is a reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. I'm very sceptical that it may work for depression. I tried before Aricept which was a mistake as the augumentation to Reboxetine. Reboxetine stopped working a long time ago. Now I'm trying Reboxetine and Reminyl.
Any opinions about this drug as a possible treatment
for depression?
Maybe someone has other suggestions about the unconventional methods for depression.
I already tried all ADs. ACs and APs. Recently I tried Ultram, but it didn't work for me.
I appreciate any comments.
