Hehe, I agree with you almost completely geno. It does make doing things that you don't want to do a lot more bearable, or even enjoyable. I don't understand people and alcohol either. My best friend and I recently went out to some parties, I had some g, he had a lot of alky (he said enough to make him happy), he wasn't making any sense, almost got himself killed, wound up trying to fight me, etc. I was able to have a pretty good time on the g till he started acting stupid and I was having to save his drunk self. I have yet to throw up on g and I have passed out a few times, only when I wanted to though because I was so sick of life I wanted to end it. I don't believe I ever felt love towards anyone without jealousy or a panic feeling that they were going to leave me before I met up with ghb. Can't say that alcohol was ever able to do that for me.

Out of curiousity, how many times are you dosing a day? I've been up to 6 times a day, which I view as abuse now, but I was suicidal then so it was the only way I could keep from killing myself. Now I'm down to once a day. Agreed it is one of the few things that can stop a really bad temper, restlessness, ruminating thoughts, violent feelings, dysthmia, hate towards the world, disinterest in everything, etc.

You may also want to research Xyrem if you have insurance, this is GHB, and is FDA approved for nacrolepsy. If you have insurance and do enough doc hunting, you could probably get Xyrem prescribed after telling them your symptoms and how it is the only thing that works and that you've tried this that and the other stuff (assuming Xyrem is out now, it seems like it should be).

This is probably one of the biggest reasons ghb was banned in the first place, because it has so many uses, yet being a natural chemical found in the brain and body, the only way it could be patented is if it was scheduled. (As a side note, it is very interesting that it is a schedule 1 substance, as that means that any amount of it is highly illegal. That means that everytime you buy meat you are committing a felony, for example the average steak has 2.6 mg of ghb in it, and smaller amounts of GBL and 1,4 butanediol. So Mcdonald's could be considered a high level drug distributer!) The american public was duped into believing that it was banned because it was a "date-rape" drug...don't suppose they ever heard of alky. I suppose the biggest problem was that it is hard to taste if it is diluted in an alcoholic drink (which, if it is combined w/ alky it can be lethal). If the government were truly for protecting us, they would have simply mandated that all ghb, gbl, or 1,4butanediol be produced with a substance with very distinct taste. There are many substances that can be tasted in such small amounts that if they were added to ghb, and then someone put some in your drink, you would know with the first sip. Nope, instead its a black market drug and anyone who were to want to use it for date rape can get it and slip it in someone's drink...granted its illegal, but they'd have no trouble doing it, and proof would be very difficult. All so some pharmaceutical company could make some more cash off a natural chemical.

Standard disclaimer: Any mention of GHB or g by JGalt refers to a substance other than GHB which is legal in his state of residence.
