I've been taking klonopin (clonazepam) for a while now, daily dosage ranges from 1.5 mgs - 3 mgs. I really don't drink, have not found the desire or need, so haven't had to worry about it for quite some time. However, my husband has been making his own microbrews, and he made some red Irish based Stout (which he considers his masterpiece) and begged me to give it my seal of approval. I did.

It had an original gravity between 1.087 and 1.100, giving it an alcohol range of 14% to 15%. I had one 12 oz. bottle and it did make me foggy, not out-and-out drunk, just kinda sleepy.

Remember though, I no longer drink and this was a first in a very long time. I would hypothesize that a few "lighter weight" beers while taking a benzo like clonazepam should be fairly safe as long as one remembers not to take off in their vehicle and other common sense rules. AND: if the one drinking has no pre-existing kidney or liver problems, nor are they taking any high cholesterol meds and/or any other meds (i.e.carbamazepine) that have serious side-effects within that same system of the body.
