I am wondering about Adderall XR too. I don't have experience with Concerta. However, one thing that is good about stimulants is that you can try them and find out fairly quickly if they work for you and how you tolerate them, and then just make a decision as to whether to continue or discontinue, unlike many ADs, which you have to wait a while to assess.
