> Hi! I'm switching Docs! ARGH. I don't know if I'm going to. One says Zyprexa IS a mood stabilizer, one says it's not -- who's right?!?! any thoughts? also, the one who doesn't believe it's a mood stablizer doesn't think it will augment anti-depressents?

Zyprexa is FDA approved for the acute treatment of mania (tho' paradoxically it has been noted to occasionally precipitate mania). It's gaining a reputation as a useful adjunctive MS. One or two studies have suggested Zyprexa *might* augment SSRIs (didn't work in my case) and it may have mild AD properties of its own (it did with me but I prefer Lamictal, tho' I may add Zyprexa back at some stage).
