hi Twain,

i've been on neurontin for a month or so. i don't think i've gained any weight, and if i have, it's probably due to my recent unemployment and beer-swilling.

other people on this board has brough tup, in the past, that weight gain isn't necessarily due to the drug per se, but that the drug relaxes you enough to not be careful about what you're eating...i.e., Oh, the world will be fine if i have another piece of chocolate cake!--whereas depression/anxiety in the past may have kept you from even wanting to eat much.

neurontin is supposed to have minimal side-effects.

best of luck to you,
sar
