I have heard that SSRIs cause hypoglycemia. I read it somewhere on this board I think, but I have also been told this by two Clinical Nutritionists -- one was an alternative medicine guy, but the other was more on the medical side of things.

Both of them described how the SSRIs cause low blood sugar in the same way ... I couldn't do their explanations justice here ... something about cortisol levels being affected, which in turn affects insulin production ...

Anyway, it seems to make sense to me. Everything points to the fact that I developed low blood sugar while on SSRIs.
