Replaced Risperdal with Nortrip. (Pamelor)

Saw the pdoc today, gave up risperdal a while ago due to motor problems, he considered geodon and one other new med, then said nortrip would probably be best. It is about as good as geodon if it does work for you, he said, and it has been around forever so there is a generic (cheaper version).
Since there is no way to afford a new med, I agreed. The rx was $7.34 for 30. That I can afford.
Starting on 25 mg for one week, then up to 50 mg for one week and check in. I check in any time there is a problem, and he is very responsive over the phone.
For some reason I have an unreasonable fear of tricyclics. We'll see I guess.
