Chloe,
I guess it depends on your body chemistry. I wish that a lower dose of Celexa would do the trick. I'm on 40mg. I went down to 20mg briefly on the advise of my pdoc so that the sexual side effects would lessen. That was not good. I felt very irritated (I think due to the Wellbutrin). My OCD was kicking in. My boyfriend noticed and asked me if I would consider going back on the 40mg and damn the sexual side effects.
I guess treating OCD is a bit different. We tend to need higher doses. Also I'm a pretty big guy. I'm also 215 pounds, almost all muscle...
Therefore I think that your mileage may vary.
Also, I did not know they made 2mg tablets of Celexa... How interesting.. ;-)
Take Care,
Simcha
> Perhaps you need to remain at the 10 mgs dose a bit longer. Celexa is an interesting med, in that it very narrowly targets seratonin. So it can cause an agitated feeling as well as a tired feeling all at once. FYI, I was only taking 2 mgs of Celexa and getting good benefit from that small a dose. Some folks are more med sensitive than others.
