I have a friend who was on Wellbutrin and Depakote a few years ago. His doctor told him not to smoke, but, of course he did anyway...

I lived in a dorm at that time, and we'd go downstairs to the smoking lounge sometimes for a cigarette. Once he got halfway through his and then started laughing for no discernable reason. I stared at him with a raised eyebrow until he recovered enough to say, "You just turned into a big gray elephant."

I assure you I'm very much a primate.

Anyway, I don't remember him complianing about feeling sick to his stomach (though I think I do remember him saying he got dizzy) after he smoked, but do I have a feeling that depakote and nicotine aren't a feel-good combination.
