What Depakote dose = weight gain?

Is it true that weight gain with Depakote only happens above a certain daily dose. I've read that only above certain doses does the appetite stimulation kick in...and that if you don't experience the appetite increase, you won't gain weight on Depakote. Is this true? If so what is the dose? I don't know if I believe this because when I took Paxil, I didn't have increased appetite, I didn't increase caloric intake, but I still got fat. Is Depakote different?
