I've had more weight gain since starting Neurontin than the entire time I've spent on Amitriptyline. So, I definitely believe that Neurontin does cause weight gain for *some* of us. Many people report no weight gain and even weight loss with Neurontin, but I am not one of them.
Klonopin seems to cut my appetite, but I haven't seen any weight loss since its augmentation to the rest of the mix.
I hope someone else can give some more specific reasoning and advice regarding the Neurontin weight gain problem.
