NEVER NEVER split a sustained release Wellbutrin tablet! You will get immediate overdosing. Why Wb for migraines? No way! WB CASUES headaches. What moron prescribed that for you? Anyway, to answer your question, you can stop WB cold w/o any adverse effects. Just make sure you never stop something else like valium or drinking abruptly IF you take Wellbutrin. It decreases the seizure threshold.
