How do I get off wellbutrin?

Posted by Es on August 17, 2001, at 19:32:02

I have been taking wellbutrin for migraine for 16 days. One 150mg. for the first 4 days, then increased to 300mg. twice a day at 8 hour intervals. If anything, it has been causing my migraines more often, and my pulse is high, 120, just sitting. I am wanting to go off of it and wonder if I could just stop taking it? Or, do I have to decrease it gradually? If, I do have to decrease gradually, then how do I do it with 150mg. tablets? I split one tablet in the afternoon yesterday and today, so have only taken 225mg. for two days, I have been told that I shouldn't be splitting them, that it could cause it to work faster instead of slower. I would appreciate any help I can get on this, thank you....God Bless...
