No problem dreamer. Take all 300mg at one time. I do. There is one thing I should mention; after 4 months of taking Effexor XR and 3 months at the 300mg level, I do find that for the first hour or so after taking it in the morning, I feel both activated and tired. It is a weird feeling and hard to describe, but it is not really annoying, just "there".
A pharmacist be wrong? Do tell! < sarcasm >. Actually, if a pharmacist doesn't see certain drugs all of the time, they will only read what they are given to read (if they do that) and will believe what is in the "book" (PDR or CPS). BTW do not feel that you cannot question your pharamcist. If the pharamcist says that he/she has never made a mistake, it is either their first day, or they are lying. It is impossible to keep up on all the advances in all the disease states. That is why many of us (pharmacists) are finding niches where we can know "a lot about a little", instead of "a little about a lot."
It is fine to take the Effexor XR once daily, but not the Effexor Regular.
