Maybe the doc thinks that you are having trouble sleeping and that is why you have daytime drowsiness.
Six weeks is not necessarily a long enough trial for Paxil. Give it another 4 to 6 weeks to see if you get more improvement.
Maybe you could take the Paxil before going to sleep so you will wake up feeling better.
