Thanks Mike... I think this is the most objective, honest, informative, post on effexor I have read. I have been trying to stay positive as I've begun effexor, but reading all these posts about the withdrawls freaked me out, the same as you.

Last night I realized I am just not thinking logically anymore about some things and that freaked me out as well. Also my anxiety got worse when I went up to 100mgs. Maybe I'll try a very low dose. Is it even difficult to come off of 75mgs? I'm tapering down to 75 from 100 today and meet with my doc. I'm going to try something else for anxiety.

I've been on celexa, paxil, and zyprexa. Paxil was the best, but I was tired and zombied out only on 20 mgs.

I guess I'll keep moving on to the next experiment. Again, thanks for your comments.
