I was on Effexor for 8 months, and had anxiety attacks regularly the entire time. I read through this board that Effexor increases the effects of caffeine by 3 times! So, if you are a coffee, tea or cola drinker, it may help to cut down on the caffeine.
good luck,

I'm not on the extended tab because we are just trying the regular pills to know the dosage because a bad response to the XR would take a while to go away. Anyways.... I'm on 25mgs three times a day and it isn't doing too much yet. But when I just took one a while ago I am beginning to feel anxious and 'jittery'. Does this go away? It kinda feels like my anxiety is going to kick in or something. Sorry, this email is a little fragmented. I guess I'm just looking for anyone who has gone through bouts of anxiety increased by regular effexor. Thanks
