T - I've not heard of ad's causing that type of pain. However, you are pretty stressed, right? And, stress can do extreme things re muscles and tension (I have neck trouble when stressed that makes backing up in my car really hard because I have a searing pain in my neck when I turn my head to look back).

There may be some phenomenon at work related to your getting off meds recently, body changes, hormone changes, etc.

Sorry I can't really help on this one. Risperdal (my anti-psychotic) does cause muscle cramping, but it's the Charlie Horse variety.

hope you feel better,
Shar

> I've been having headaches lately but I'm pretty prone to them. The problem is that sometimes, when I just turn my head, i pull or strain the muscles. I get some really bad pain. Small movements feel like my muscles and ligaments are ripping and then pain for days after. I have been off my AD's for a couple of weeks but the muscle pain has been going on for a few months. I was on amytriptiline and clonazepam. I still take the clonazepam.
