Can AD's cause really bad muscle tension?

I've been having headaches lately but I'm pretty prone to them. The problem is that sometimes, when I just turn my head, i pull or strain the muscles. I get some really bad pain. Small movements feel like my muscles and ligaments are ripping and then pain for days after. I have been off my AD's for a couple of weeks but the muscle pain has been going on for a few months. I was on amytriptiline and clonazepam. I still take the clonazepam.
Can AD;s cause this??
