Hi, Well, I've "been there, done that" - I tried Zoloft awhile back and as I titrated up on it (I think I was up to 150 mg), I plateaued and also began feeling irritable and angry frequently, as you said - easily getting pissed off!

I can't tell you if it will go away because I did not stay on Zoloft very long after I got to the 150 mg dose because it did not alleviate the depression or anxiety, and was causing the irritability. I have a feeling, however, that tihs is NOT one of those side effects that wears off (or it would have done so by now) and it just doesn't sound like one of the side effects that dissipate. The other person's suggestion to decrease the dose or skip one and see what happens is a good idea. Also, tell your doc about this anger stuff.

As for Klonopin, I've been on that for years and never (knock on wood!) had a problem with it making me angry or irritable. It's anti-anxiety med, waaaaaaay different than the a-d's like Zoloft, and basically has a CALMING effect, is used for panic and anxiety. If you're still feeling anxious and panicky, Klonopin may not be the right one for you. Good luck! - Janelle
