> Hi,
> If you take the wellbutrin too late in the evening it can keep you up. Often a bedtime dose actually puts me to sleep. But I also have had days when I knew it was clearly past my bedtime and I wasn't remotely tired. Ambien to the rescue. Just make sure you have at least 7 hours of sleep time when you take the ambien or you'll get up pretty groggy. But Ambien works great for me and it's only every once in a while that I'm met with bedtime and still complete alertness. I take 10mg. -Terra P.S. I am on wellbutrin only; no effexor.

good morning terra... thanks for replying...
i was taking my 2nd dose of wellbutrin as early as noon and it still kept me up but i tend towards difficuly falling asleep so it doesn't take much to exacerbate it... pdoc tells me to take both doses together and boy did i feel overmedicated - didn't like it at all except for the diminished appetite - but i was clearly overstimulated (i also take concerta) and i really worry about being on too much meds... i feel like i'm losing myself... and am scared about the dependency.. so i'm currently only taking the morning dose and i'll see if that's enough

thanks for the tip about the ambien

regards
v
