Yeah, I know that Phase III is by no means a promise that befloxatone will be in pharmacies soon, but after seeing the promising (depression, social phobia) reversible MAOI brofaromine sent to pasture, it's nice to see that what may be an even better and low-side-effect reversible MAOI is progressing towards market.
Searches on Medline showed nothing but great promise for this med. In one study, it was shown to be a greater MAO-A inhibitor than brofaromine, and mcuh greater than moclobemide.
I've attached a listing for Befloxatone from Acurian, as well as their listing for escitalopram (improved Celexa), which I posted about a few weeks ago. (I believe an application has already been filed for that one, so this document -- which shows indicates end-of-stage-III may be slightly dated.)
