I have been on Topamax 500 mgm for several months now and I still get the itchies especially if exposed to direct sunlight for too long or if I get sweaty. I started taking 25mgm of good ole' Benadryl between doses and have found a miracle cure! My pdoc didn't believe it at first, but he had another patient try it
and it worked for that person too. I still avoid direct sunlight and overheating, but it beats giving up the Topamax which I consider the best mood stabalizer to come down the pike! maribeth
