Probably all-in all Zoloft would be my favorite SSRI if it wasn't for the sleep disturbances-I think it is the active metabolite (breakdown product)desmethylsertraline. I would wake up and blankets/sheets turned at 90 degree angles to each other or wrapped all around me (I must have that restless leg movements-RLS-in sleep)! Other than that, the only time my pdoc would say something like "this is the best I ever seen you!" was when I was taking it.

Hey man, if it works keep taking it! It is tough to find stuff that you can tolerate that works. If you are saying things like "symptoms aren't too -severe", you have probably found the "one".

You might be able to drop to 50mg/day as a maintenance dose after a few more weeks-and the side effects should be more tolerable.

> I was prescribed 100mg/day of zoloft for panic disoder/anxiety about 3 weeks ago and apart from several side effects i think its great! The side effects are vivid dreams, waking up disorientated, dry mouth, diarrhea, rapid weight loss, slight tremor and muscle twitches. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has experienced similar symptons and if so do these symptons go away in time or should i try another med, the symptons aren't too severe and im hoping there temporary!
