Hi. I lost about 6 pounds on Prozac [on it a few months] at 40 mg now. I still have libido, but it takes longer to get orgasmic; sometimes I can't but it's not too bad. Paxil was the worst for no sexual interest and intense hunger all the time. Prozac works best for me with least side effects [a little insomnia]

I do, however, have a determined husband who really kind of forced the issue and I was able to be multi-orgasmic whenever I gave in to sex in order to appease him, but it took alot longer than it used to. I'm now down to 20 mgs. and have noticed a definite increase in my libido.
> As for weight gain, I've gained a considerable amount of weight since beginning Prozac (about 6 yrs. ago) but I honestly don't blame the Prozac. My life style changed; I became more sedentary and did way more "comfort eating". Plus, I've recently come to understand through therapy that my weight gain may be an attempt on my part to become less attractive to my husband so he'll not want to have sex. I've only recently admitted to myself or anyone else about childhood sexual abuse. Prozac, on the whole, has been a life saver for me.
