Could be. But at what point does grief become depression? Grief is generally finite; it fades with time (tho' of course you'll always be sad about yr loss). When grief doesn't resolve (ie allow you to function) within a 'reasonable' period of time, arguably you're looking @ straight depression. Time for therapy (for grief), & meds for depression?
