I was taking it to augment effexor, which I will be changing, for the treatment of depression. Within a few days, I noticed a positive enhancement of my mood and energy. Unfortunately the stomach trouble has been a major monkey wrench in the situation. It seems stimulating and activating to me. I have not tried Zyprexa or risperdal because, I wanted a drug that wouldn't cause weight gain.

Both Zyprexa and Risperdal were partially effective for me, but certain cognitive side effects prevented me from raising dosages to therapeutic levels.
