Baclofen is a muscle relaxant. I find it to be better than flexeril because the baclofen actually relaxes the muscles. It does take a little bit of time to "kick in" but sure is worth it. I still get muscular pain, which may be aggravated by the effexor I take, but no severe cramps. For the stomach I suggest eating an apple or two every day. For myself, I find that oranges and tomatoes can cause pain. I've tried other fruits but the apple seems to be the one for me. Maybe the old saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away!" has some merit to it.

I'm also seeing a psychologist. I don't know if you've noticed any relation to everyday stressors and the pain. It may be something that you may want to consider?

BESTI WISHES, for a day with no cramps! : )
