I'm sorry, I don't know anything about trazodone. But I do know that perhaps you could try Oxazepam (a minor benzodiazepine), or maybe an atypical neuroleptic like Seroquel. I also thought of trazodone's relative nefazodone for sleep; nefazodone has few side-effects.

Perhaps you could look up whether Remeron interacts negatively with Trazodone on the very useful Drug Checker at: www.drkoop.com

I am having a hard time falling to sleep on 15 or 30mg of remeron and need something to push me over the edge. Ambien works for about 1 night and then all I have left is restoril which makes me feel really bad the next day. Thanks.
