I tried Serzone for anxiety and depression [not for OCD]. It made me very agitated and gave me crying jags all the time, after about 10 or 12 days. I also had very bad insomnia with it. I started 50mg 2x day and gradually went to 250 mg 2x a day. I only was on it 4 weeks. I hope it works better for your boyfriend, or that he finds the best med[s] for his condition. I am on 40 mg Prozac now with very good results. It's all trial and error with everyone.

> My boyfriend began taking serzone last week. He has moderate tourette's and OCD. I think he is taking 100-150 mg of serzone 1x a day (morning)currently. He has found that he has fewer rage attacks, but is noticing that he is more vocal about things that are bothering him now. Where he would have stuffed his feelings at work, he is finding he is expressing his dissatisfaction with people or situations that upset him. He feels that it is good that he isn't "stuffing" his feelings and later going into rages, but he is concerned that he is a little inappropriate in expressing his dissatisfaction with certain people to other coworkers. DOes anyone have experience with serzone and tourette's/OCD/rage? Is it possible that he needs to take an afternoon dose? This problem seems to happen at the end of his work day.
> Any ideas would be appreciated. I think he really likes the reduction in rage attacks, and the way it helps him sleep. He is simply concerned about being inappropriate at work when he opens his mouth.
