Thanks for your help. I've just been Dx with
panic attacks so it's new to me. My doctor gave me
samples and started with 10mg. I'm not sure if
it will be increased, will find out this wkend.
He said i will only take it for 6 mths. Sounds
like i need to ask him about other side effects
of celexa. Having a hard time dealing with this,
this experience is new and having doubts of what
i should take regarding all these side effects.
I hope he can cure this in 6 mths.
Thanks again for everyones response.

I also had a lot of physical side effects from Paxil [including tremendous weight gain, in ability to orgasm, excessive drowsiness, muscle spasm, inability to concentrate, neck rigidity etc....all on minimum dosage]. So against my doctors advice I discontinued the paxil after 6 months.

I seem to be very drug sensitive and find this to be gentler to my system than the paxil. I will probably be on this drug for a very long time .....my only complaint is that after 6 months the weight had start to slowly creep up and right now I'm just trying to find a diet modification and an excercise combo that fits my hectic lifestyle and works.
