I am prone to headaches normally. I got them when I took Zoloft for a while and they went away. I got them when taking Prozac [morning headaches] but I took Maxalt which works great, and they went away. Eventually the headaches subside. This is common for the first one to three weeks starting ADs. I am now on 40 mg of Prozac and doing well. The headaches subside in most people, though it is very tough to deal with while you are in that mode.

> I am trying to take 10 mgs. of Prozac every day except for the week before my period when I take 20. To do this I take a 20 mg. pill every other day during my 10 mg. days. After starting this regimen, I find I get killer headaches on the days I don't take a pill. Will these subside? Should I get a scrip for a 10 mg. pill to take everyday, or just stick to 20 mgs? It's too soon to tell if 10 mgs. is too little to keep my mood up. If it is then my question becomes moot.
