Just curious--how long have you been taking meds
for depression? Does depression run in your family?
What meds have you taken and which ones did you
respond poorly to, and which ones did you respond
well to? I tend to respond better to the SSRI's
(of course! the ones with the notorious sexual
dysfunction!), and poorly to drugs like Wellbutrin
and serzone. (Haven't tried Effexor or Remeron yet).
I respond "ok" to the TCA disipramine, but not as
well as with prozac. Have taken meds off and on for
nearly 10 years, mainly on prozac. The mood stablilizer
is a new thing, only been doing that for 4 months or
so.
