Well, I take both serzone and effexor, and they are compatible. BUT, my experience is that the serzone WILL NOT fill in for the effexor, will not hold you over. Are you prescribed serzone? IMHO, you should fill the effexor asap and not have a lapse in doses, and should not take serzone unless it is prescribed. It is not an easy drug to initiate. There can be lots of initial side effects to get over.
