Have you been to your local GNC if you have one? They have thermal metabolism boosting supplements for revving your engine a bit. Stay away from ephedrine based stuff though if you have any problem with anxiety. Guggulsterones are good thermogenics. Lay off carbs as much as possible for 8 to 10 weeks and eat high protein from fish and lean meat sources. Eat beans and nuts too. Take vitamin supplements especially B's and magnesium and exercise. This will get your metabolism running again. Try to workout in the morning on an empty stomach for at least 20 minutes and start lifting weights. Lean muscle burns fat even while you are sleeping.
Remember, weight loss is a gradual process. If you have too high expectations you will fail. Make a lifestyle change. Don;t think of it as dieting but as being good to yourself.
Good luck,
Happy St Paddy's Day
