Does it cause considerable sedation? Did it work for you? What are the main side effects etc. etc. I've also been here long enough to know the motto of the board: YMMV Thanks ever so much to everyone, and not just the ones that actually respond to my message. I have learned so much from all of you. It has been a pleasure to get to know ya'll.

Hi!

I just started zyprexa. Only 2.5 mg/day. Is that even a therapeutic dose? I am BPII, and have most recently been taking lamictol (lamotrigine). Had to stop because it made me ridiculously absent-minded, and occasionally (and unpredictably) gave me some blurred vision and light-headedness. Most of these are well-known side-effects. Someone mentioned that there is a new version of Zyprexa w/o the weight gain? I struggle with weight gain enough as it is!! Has that med been released yet?

Steve
