Scary time and a psychopharmachologist from hell. In a nutshell: I've been on antidepressant for 10 years, beginning with Prozac, ending with Celexa 20 mg day. Quit cold because of muscle aches and serious short-term memory loss. Catapulted into: good memory, no aches/pains, but wide awake, fast talking, high energy, feeling of low level electric shock/tremor running through me, no focus, barely in control angry being. (I'm on synthroid so checked--tsh,t4 ok; sugar levels ok.) After 2 weeks called psychofarm who put me on Topomax (1 pill--shaky, sleepless, head buzz, tight throat/chest). Next, Neurontin 100 mg 2x day: this leaves me feeling buzzy and removed, dizzy. Less angry, sleeping ok, still experiencing low-level shock feeling, developing new body pain, teary. After taking it don't dare drive a car for a few hours. So that's been 3 days of meds! I'm afraid of seeing what she'll throw at me next, and this body is so med sensitive! Tempted to quit her and just try 1, 20 mg Celexa every other day
until I might stabilize. I've never written one of these bits before, but I'm needing some help here. Anyone?
