This problen has been around for a while.. there are 2 parts... kind chicken or egg kind of thing.

If the med is not fully treating the depression /anxiety.. the faulty memory is the fault of inadequate treatment...

Meds like paxil can also cause the same type of fuzziness...

For me it was inadequate treatment with zoloft & not the zoloft... I felt OK & thought I was fine except for terrible short term memory....

you should discuss this at length with you DOC as the options are 100% different.

For the one you increase meds for the other you decrease meds... sometimes you have to change to a different med ( SSRI ) or even a different class.

Do not give up... with the right med,.. memory will be like it was before.
