My son is 5 and is on respiredol, he only has 1mg, we have had to taper him off onto 1/2 first and he has been extrmely anxious and very moody for the first 5 days. After 6 days he has become incredibly sleepy and falls asleep in thge middle of exciting events, like the christmas pagent. He has been on 1/2 for 9 days now and is better in his moods but is sleeping long and very deeply. we have to take him off from tomorrow and I am a little worried with what his reactions might be then. Ill keep you posted
