I sat there listening to some guy tell me his whole life story, his wife has child prot. after him, he won some sort of lottery, he's a father in training. All the while his daughter is giving him punchbuggies.

You've been making me laugh. I was just diagnosed little over a month ago and put on adderall, (you can read my string that says "stimulants (adderall) make my heart skip !!!"). Anyway, I think I'm just a freak case, but I was wondering how wellbutrin worked for you. I too have exams this week and the adderall does help, but I think I want to try something else. I've heard it can take a while.

My ADD is primarily inattentive type with out hyperactivity, which means I would think that I'd benefit more from the stimulants since I'm slow, out of it, indecisive etc.

Oh, just to let you know, I'm king of stuff like goin to appointments on the wrong day, walking into the wrong classroom. In fact, during my first appointment ever, (before I got diagnosed and I was looking into it) my doctor told me to stop at the desk and make another appointment. I walked right out the door instead. he had to call me a couple of days later to find out what was going on.
Anyway, I will tell you that most everyone that I know who's taking adderall really likes it. One kid's been taking it for 2 years and hasn't had any problems with it, although I have heard here and there that it can be addictive when you don't take vacations from it (ie one or two days now and then).

Later,
Jared
