> I suffer from excess sweating and blushing of the facial area. I recently got quite excited about ETS (surgery) to alleviate this condition. After researching this procedure on the net a little further I have discovered some concerns about the surgery's effectiveness/side effects. Can you shed any light????? Any practical assistance would be very much appreciated.

I've had surgery when there were better options and I didn't realize it at the time. I didn't get a second opinion or find out all the alternative treatments available. I regretted it but have learned to live with it and accept it now. Surgery is a HUGE step that requires very careful consideration. It shouldn't be taken lightly by any means. I think you need to weigh all the alternatives out-pros and cons, that sort of thing.

I have seen commercials on t.v. that say that Paxil is for social anxiety as another option for you. I take paxil and it helps my anxiety and so does a low dose of ativan. Best of luck to you.r.a.
