There are many incredibly knowledgeable people here, but what you will be offered are possible alternatives, personal experiences, and caring support. Our motto is YMMV--Your Mileage May Vary.

Medlib -
Thanks for the info - yes I understand re drug interactions but I feel I am having prolems sorting things out - my MEDMD is not interested - In response to questions posed:
1)re Wellbutrin 100mg bolus in am with the 1SR- it seems to work best for me to get through the day - was unable to take the SR bid as even if I took the 2nd dose prior 2-3pm I could not sleep.I have a long hx of sleep problems. When taking 1 Trazadone 25-50mg at HS was too sleepy in ams - so my PsychMD and I decided to try the am recipe of Wellbutrin only - so far with good results - I am sleeping relativewly better - able to get OOB in am with out pushing myself.A Sleep study for sleep apnea is coming up as the 1st Afib sx started on waking up suddenly, then have progressed to happening anytime late pm or am - at rest or on some activity ( since starting the Wellbutrin)
2)Taking Digoxin qam 0.375mg which gives me a base HR at rest of about 70-72/min - before base rate was 80/min - this last ED visit 10/9 the there was irregularity of beat - but less tachycardia - slight chest pressure with some feeling of not enough air - episode lasted 2hr+ before I converted without medical intervention.
3)HTN med is Lisinopril as I have Diabetes as well and this manages problems I was having of high urine microalbumin levels.
4) Today I had treadmill test without irregular beats, but my BP went from resting at 140/80 to 220/80 returning to baseline with in 30min after test....anyway I do not know if another BP med needs to be added - my MedicalMD is usless....but my main concern is if the Wellbutrin is contributing to the problem - PsychMD feels my response has been so good that I should continue - I have a thing about having to take other meds to manage side effects - I'm still amazed with the number I take now, and the time involved in the daily management of my health problems - I guess I should be grateful to have more energy now to do it...I hope I don't experience "poop out" on this med in the future.
PS: I also take Glcophage bid,and HRT by patch and gel.
I am very glad to find this site - I feel this is a place to get another point of view, get experiencial info., and break down the isolation -not only for myself, but to also discuss issues I have with my son(schizoaffective dx - 27yrs)who lives with me.
PPS: I am wondering if anyone has had experience with biofeedback to help learn to manage stress responses - mine is easily set off, almost a post traumatic stress response (my family definitely crazy with alcoholics, schizophrenics(my son is 3rd straight generation), and suicides)- I tend to make mostly somatic responses,as being "crazy" or "suicidal" is not OK with me - depression is, as it is quiet and invisable, but must not interfer with survival, such as working for the money required to be allowed to stay a live in this culture - so I work hard to appear "normal" - just doing this for yrs has worn out my adrenals - I am coping more realistically recently after burning out- I am setting limits esp. saying 'no' alot - I want more from my life, but getting there......sometimes it feels like moving through molasses....looking forward to more feedback - I notice I am needing to "babble" alot here - what a relief!
