Unless you are suffering from depression, I would get a second opinion about starting effexor. It does make it a bit easier for me to deal with things, but that's because of the anti-depressant effect. and btw, if you do take it, expect to gain a fair amount of weight. and getting off effexor is not all that easy, so definatly get a second opinion.

Doc thought maybe feeling better mentally would do the trick including the boost of energy he said this would give me. Some of these messages sound like its sedating. Please someone answer me before I keep taking it and get adverse reactions.
