I am trying to get off Effexor.
I do not want to take any other Anti-D.This "medicine" has been good for me, but I feel like many things are wrong, especially the withdrawl symptoms getting off them.
I see at this site so many other people saying the same things - they weren't aware that this would be like this. That getting off Effexor is a painful experience in itself.
I hav felt at the best of times that taking effexor was like taking a mild form of ecstacy, the party drug.
The main reason I was prescribed Anti-D's was because of party burn out and drug induced psychosis.When I take a tablet of effexor, after half an hour I feel a mild rush of the sedating qualities of the drug.
I have tried to go cold turkey and, like others, have sufferd. I know I must go off them and suffer for a few weeks while I readjust to "normal life".
