> I am comming off Wellbutrin - I've been taking for 8 years but I've had increasingly 'gut' feelings that its bad for me and various problems going on that I can't tell is age, menopause, or side effects, so I decided to come off of it. Luckilly I am never really suicidal (even before medication) I just get very, very tired and 'down'. I have tried 5HTP before but had nausa with it. I plan to try and take it with meals this time. I found a formula combining 5HTP and St John's. I had planned to wait a long time after the last of the Wellbutrin (I've been tapering off for a couple of months) before starting the herbs because I wasn't sure about side effects and problems. BUT (here's the point of this ramble) I saw one note in an earlier subject that mentioned COMBINING 5HTP, St John's Wort and Wellbutrin. Has anyone actually done that? Did you have any side effects?

Did you take the coated 5HTP before? I stumbled across something discussing this yesterday, and I am very interested in this.
I am gaining weight on the Effexor, and like the idea that the 5HTP can be used as an appetite suppresant also.
