> > I don't know about anyone else, but I am so upset about what this drug has done to me. Yeah, when I took it all was fine, then I quit and I am so sick. I took Effexor 150mg 3x's daily for a year and a half. I will tell you, tapering off is not the answer. Going back on them seems to be the answer to getting relief, but there is NO WAY I will do that. I have been dealing with the same side effects from withdrawal as everyone else, nausea, headache, dizziness, numbness in my lips, arms, hands, and legs when I bend over, after 2 weeks I am not getting any better. Every day I'm just as sick as the day before or worse, never better. I heard on 20/20 some have been going through this for months. I don't know if I can deal with that. Also since this drug has only been on the market a few years, who really knows what long term effect this drug has caused. I truly believe this drug should have never been put out for the public to take. I also believe the manufacturers knew it and didn't care. Now we're all suffering, now what?

> james Hi James... I am glad Effexor is working well for you and others. When I submitted my message I was over the top in depression and feeling very sick. I judged this drug on my own experience and really never took into account those it may be helping. In that case,I am glad it is there if it is helping you. I haven't spoke to my Phyciatrist since I went off Effexor, but have an appointment soon. I'm sure she'll find something more suited for me. As I mentioined I am glad Effexor is helping you and other people. I am certainly all for that. Take care, my hope for you is continued success with Effexor and therapy or whatever else your doing. Bless You,Terry.
