Gabapentin

I have read alot about this drug on the net. My doctor says it doesn't cause weight gain. Some sites list that as a side effect others don't. Has anyone taken Gabapentin? What did you find for side effects? Any info would be great. I am already to depressed to think about gaining weight on top of this.
